When Google first announced the release of Pixel 4 launch in October 2019, there are much anticipation. As we are all aware of Google innovations and with Google Pixel 4 the computational photography and Soli radar chip was the first for Pixel line.

Computational photography allows Pixel 4 to take low-light photography with Night Sight and improved portrait tools which recognize and separate tiny differences. The new digital processing allowed Astrophotography mode on Google Pixel 4, and it functions by extending the Night Sight mode for one to four minutes to capture stars at a night sky.

When Google Pixel 4 zoom 2x telephoto becomes a sort of semi-hybrid 8x lens which sharpens an image using AI Super Res Zoom smarts Google and GCam. However faced off with Samsung, Huawei and Xiaomi their cameras offer a more competitive edge. With many latest models, using larger sensors with higher resolutions and better tele lenses. Pixel 4 might be a little lacking behind.

Yet with the rubber grip and beautifully designed array of colors that sits nicely on my hand have won my heart. The light weight and hand held ability are definitely a day to day essential. And let’s not forget how ridiculous phones can be these days.
